Graduated in Recorder at Conservatory of Vicenza and in DAMS (Faculty of Art, Music and Performing Arts) at University of Bologna. Concert player since 1977 as soloist and member of ensembles of early music.

I have taught Recorder at the Conservatories of Trieste and Pescara, and at the ‘International Early Music Courses’ of Urbino organized by the Italian Foundation for Early Music.

At present I teach Recorder at Scuola Civica di Musica “G. Zelioli” of Lecco and high schools “C. Tenca” of Milan and “G. B. Grassi” of Lecco; besides I give group lessons in a few primary schools of Lecco, and seminars and lectures on the history and didactics of the Recorder.

I am a founding member and was a member of the board of directors of ERTA-Italia Onlus (European Recorder Teachers’ Association) from 2001 to 2004.

As a composer of chamber and didactic music for Recorder, in 2004 I published a collection of 12 Studies for treble Recorder, and in 2008 the anthology 16th-18th Century European Songs and Dances (Ut Orpheus, Bologna). Since 2008 I am the general editor of the Recorder series for the same publishing company.
